2x2 Methods

Layer By Layer(Beginner)

This method is the easiest of all, with the least algorithms to learn, and involves solving the cube layer by layer just like a typical 3x3. In this case, there are two layers to be solved, and this method can get you solve times of 5-15s.

Ortega(Intemediate)

This method is commonly used by intermediate cubers, and can get you solve times of under 8 seconds with practice. With only 12 algorithms to learn, this is a great method to consider to get faster from the LBL method,

Erik Gunnar(Advanced)

This method is the fastest method available for 2x2, and can get you timings of under 4 seconds with practice. With over 128 algorithms to learn, this method is definitely not for beginners.
